This was a nice scene found off of the normal path yesterday in Hakone. We did a really slack version of the trail that I took a couple of weeks ago. Instead of climbing a mountain at the outset, then walking down the other side, we caught a bus to the top, then walked most of the way down.
Between the rains this time of year is the best time to capture the royal lushness these forests offer.
